Welcome to my blogs, one is for creative pursuits, the other is a two year adventure experiment.

I'm so happy you came to my blog. I have so much to share with you. I get inspired to create when I see the creative work of others, I hope the same will happen to you. I am a mom of two little girls who aren't so little anymore. In a few years, they will be off living their own lives and I want to be ready to be all grown up myself. I have always wanted to be some kind of artist, but I have never known what I would do if I could have the luxury of leading an artist's life. I have been a good mom to my girls and a great wife to my make-me-laugh-daily husband. My life has been a fantastic adventure, and I have no regrets. Somehow, though, I feel a change is coming, like a slight shift in the direction of the breeze. I feel, in my heart, the time is now. I want to know what I can become. At the moment, I live on top of a mountain in rural Tennessee, the closest university is more than an hour's drive away. With all my responsibilities here, at home, it is impossible for me to think of going back to school. I have taken stock of what learning possibilities I have available to me and have come to the conclusion to use blogs and books as my classrooms and texts. I believe I can reinvent myself, over time, and I am hoping this blog will track my progress. For all of those who think their time has passed, I say join me in my reinvention project. Lets see where we end up if we follow The Muse of The Day.
